It doesn’t happen very often that a big Battle Beasts collection with various interesting items becomes available so when it does it’s no wonder that a wave of excitement goes through the Battle Beasts Community. Especially when it’s promoted in a very tempting way;
This post on Instagram from April 9th 2025 by a new account Battle_beast_for_sale came out of the blue and caused a little shockwave to go through the BB Community. Many collectors, old and new, got their hopes up knowing this might potentially be the opportunity to purchase some interesting items. Potentially… because many may have tried but most didn’t succeed.
It went quiet for months until recently when Killer Carp posted the following Video on YouTube;
Often when large collections, or desired, pieces become available they aren’t publicly announced because they go behind the scenes making their way from one collector to another in private. This makes that despite the fact this video may have resulted in some disappointment amongst fellow BB collectors, who might’ve had their hopes up for items from this collection, it’s also a unique insight in how such a collection makes it’s way from one collector to another.
This together with the origin of the collection, with the collection being from Jay McManus, makes that it’s worthwhile to document and preserve this video here on the Beastformers Blog.
