Annual New Years Eve event
The White Rabbit and Triple Threat Snake have witnessed an amazing and colorful Night Sky on New Year’s Eve after they said goodbye to Skull Grotesque (can you spot it?).
The New Year´s Eve event takes place on Planet Beast every year and it´s known as the #BeastformersNightSkyNYE the image above shows what magical imaginary Fireworks was created by the little pyrotechnicians of the PPA (Pugnacious Penguin Army). During December they´ve been pretty active composing new ¨bouquets¨ effects out of the actual Battle Beasts weapons. Can you tell which BB weapons have been used? Although they´ve already built quite a portfolio of effects and arrangements throughout the years they managed to come up with some interesting new effects for this year as well confirming once more that they really are the best Beasts to pick for the organisation of this special evening.
New Year’s Eve on Planet Beast was a blast!
* Officially the year of the Snake will start on January 29th 2025 but Planet Beast has a slightly different position in space compared to Earth 😉
Similar to 2024 where a BB symbol was assigned to the Beast for that year, Wood Dragon, this is also the case for 2025 because it´ll be the year of the Wood Snake! With 2025 already a couple of days on the way some of you might´ve already been thinking about adding the first Beasts to the collection or maybe you already did like The White Rabbit? Maybe you managed to snag a cool Pink Angry Axolotl Beast (Image right), by @GrimElementals, as well? If not you might still be able to grab one HERE. So no ¨Dry January¨ there. 2024 Definitely was a special year when it comes to BB inspired creations by various talented and passionate BB fans/artists, like @The_Cosmic_Bird_Customs and @BattleBeastsredux it´s the plan to have (belated) figure Reviews for various of their creations posted here on the Beastformers Blog in 2024 but as explained in the Lack of Updates post this didn´t work out. Hopefully this year. But before we look further into 2025 let´s take a final look back at 2024 the Year of the Wood Dragon.
REVIEW 2024
As explained, previous post on the Beastformers Blog, 2024 was a rather slow year for the Blog but that, thanks to the valuable and interesting information that´s already present here, didn´t result in a lack of activity in regards to visitors and views by fellow collectors and fans of the Battle Beasts line because you all still seem to be able to find and consult the Beastformers Blog without problems. And this also echoed on in personal reactions and comments The White Rabbit has received because although this whole Blog idea was started out of its own interest in order to preserve and document the wide variety of information and history regarding this line in a structured and easy to access way it´s always good to know and hear that it’s also appreciated by passionate fellow collectors, thanks! Adding the Beastformers Checklist was a rather huge milestone that´s achieved in 2024 with the help of a few passionate and die hard fellow collectors who´re part of the Beastformers Archaeology (BA) Team. It probably is one of, if not, THE most accurate and up to date Checklist for the Battle Beasts and Laser Beasts (LB) toy line that currently exists. Because not only can you see the figure from the front- and backside (with the attention/focus on the mold details) it´s also the ONLY Checklist that holds the Official names of the Beasts and their Weapons (including a proper English Translation for the Official Japanese names). At the moment ALL 112 Beasts (76 BB and 36 LB) are present in their most COMMON (most produced and widest released) version but it obviously doesn´t stop there because we all know there´s still so much more…
But before looking into other Beast related subjects first a look back at 2024 in numbers.
It’s interesting to see whether or not the recovered growth from 2023, after a dip in 2022 (which couldn´t keep up with the insane increase in Visitors and View numbers of 2021 (due to the pandemic)), would continue or whether it´d drop back. And there´s good news because, even though 2021 again wasn´t matched in Views, the numbers for 2024 showed again a consistent growth and it even outnumbered the record number of Visitors from 2023 (7300), this shows that the Beasts are still more than alive!
In 2024 the Beastformers Blog was visited/consulted by more than 8100 visitors from 86* different countries all over the world. Total number of views for 2023 was almost over 49,000.
* With more and more people using a VPN it’s likely that the actual number of unique different countries is lower.
It can´t be a surprise that the US continues to bring in the most numbers in these statistics (20,023 views) because of the high number of active collectors out there but the Beastformers Blog still seems to reach all continents. The Blog also seems to have steadily reclaimed its #1 position on Google when searching for Beastformers, which shows that quality and consistency are valued and this will hopefully stay for a while to make sure more fellow collectors can find, consult and benefit from the information on the Beastformers Blog. But as always it´s also dependent on fellow collectors and the whole BB Community so keep spreading the word and share this place with new collectors or collectors who haven´t found this Blog yet, thanks!

Best 9 on Instagram
Similar to last year and the year before The White Rabbit made its own selection of the ¨Best Nine” images selected from the @Beastformers Instagram account simply because likes alone don´t always tell the story and because not every posts is seen by as many people as others ¨thanks¨ to Instagram’s algorithm which aren´t always cooperative…
Starting from Top Left to Bottom Right (random order of importance);
• The Black lighted Tigers which showed that some details of the Battle Beasts actually Glow under a Black Light! This was quite a discovery in 2024 and to many collectors, including The White Rabbit this special effect was unknown. (Posted Oct. 5th 2024)
• Bandolier Boxes, from the personal Beastformers Collection and within the original shipping box, probably one of the most liked posts with over 200+ likes. (Posted Jun. 8th 2024)
• ¨They Grow into an Army” this famous Battle Beasts quote also seems to be applicable to the Spanish Beasts. (Posted Nov. 2nd 2024)
• Behind the scenes shot for the Beastformers Checklist which was completed for the Common 112 Beasts in 2024. (Posted Jan. 26th 2024)
• A personal favorite of The White Rabbit, the awesome Winged Eye Buffalo Bootleg was completed with the correct arms. (Posted Sept. 19th 2024)

What will the Year of the Wood Snake bring for the Beastformers Blog?
That´s a question that can´t be answered at the moment because a lot of it will depend whether or not crucial puzzle pieces are found and added to get halted research topic going or that might fit into crucial positions in ongoing research topics. Unlike 2024 in which we had good hopes to complete the Beastformers Checklist which was already in progress there´s nothing like that for 2025 although the hopes are that the Bestias De Combate area on the Beastformers Blog can finally be properly updated. But also this is depending on a couple crucial puzzle pieces which will first have to make it to the Beastformers Dungeons.
Reviews
What you can expect this year are Reviews of various BB (inspired) creations that have been created during the past year(s) and which definitely deserve a shout out and some exposure here on the Beastformers Blog. The intention to do this was there already in 2024 but due to delays that didn´t happen but if everything goes well there should be some awesome creations arriving at the Beastformers Dungeons somewhere in 2025, so keep an eye out!
BeastformerShop Pop-Up in 2025?!
Who knows… It remains an Exlusive (merging of Elusive and Exclusive) Pop-Up Shop so it´s hard to predict that also due to the fact that with the years passing it´s becoming harder and harder to find premium Beasts in acceptable condition. But as always a lot of the availability within the BeastformerShop will depend upon upgrades within the Beastformers Collection. IF there´ll be an update to the Bestias De Combate section on the Blog there might as well be a Bestias De Combate themed Pop-Up! Curious, or want early access for a possible future Pop-Up? Even though most of the main subjects on the Beastformers Blog are organized and added to the menu in the bar above some of the quick posts are not added or subdivided within the menu. This is done on purpose to prevent extremely long pop out menu´s showing up but the downside of that is that these posts might get out of sight while they are still there. So if there´s something you can´t find via the menu please try to fill in some catchwords or search terms via the Search box on the right to see if there might be any results in most cases you´ll probably get one or more hits and if you don´t feel free to ask.
